Recently Approved: Woodland Planting and Management Plan to Support a Forestry Building Proposal (Wootton Wawen)

What we prepared

DJOGS produced a coordinated package to support the application, including:

  • A Forestry Statement explaining the practical need for the building in relation to woodland operations

  • A Woodland Management Strategy setting out long-term objectives, prescriptions and monitoring

  • A detailed Woodland Planting and Management Plan showing woodland structure, planting proposals, rides and glades management, and habitat enhancement measures

Why this type of work helps planning outcomes

A strong woodland strategy helps decision-makers by:

  • demonstrating that proposals are proportionate and justified

  • showing a deliverable, long-term management approach rather than a short-term intervention

  • integrating access, planting and management so the site functions well over time

  • providing clear drawings and supporting information that reduce uncertainty and delay

How DJOGS can help

We support woodland and rural projects across the United Kingdom with planning-friendly drawings and management strategies, including forestry statements, woodland planting plans, and long-term management frameworks.
