INTERNATIONAL STANDARD PROPOSED GO-KART TRACK, NORTON CANES

area from around the country and internationally for motorsport events and so contributing considerably to
the local economy. The facilities will provide opportunities for amateurs, corporate days out and family fun as
well as regular competitive race meetings. The national and international visitors will bring welcome
additional trade for local hotels, restaurants and shopping centres.
The track is however only part of the story as the surrounding land as well as the centre of the track
have been designed to provide a mosaic of locally important habitats supporting many species of animal
including bats, badgers, butterflies, reptiles, amphibians, birds and pollinators. There will be large areas open
to the community including pools, paths, heathland and woodland all fully accessible for walkers, cyclists and
people with reduced mobility. Our intention is provide a space for the local community to enjoy and relax
whether attending the racing or just enjoying the outdoors.
